Have you spent hours developing or creating your website? Do you often wonder how “strong” your website is? Do you often wonder what exactly having a strong website means? If you are like me, then you probably answer these questions with a yes, yes, and another yes.
Well, I stumbled upon a tool that will give you insights into just how strong your website is. It is called Website Grader by HubSpot. Website Grader is a “free online tool that grades your site against key metrics like performance, mobile readiness, SEO, and security”. It gives you a score out of 100. Of course, with 100 being the top or best score possible.
So, I ran the test on my site. www.basschristopher.com. Below are the results. To my surprise, I scored very high. Honestly, it was MUCH higher than I had thought it would be. I say thought it would be because I get tons of phone calls and emails from “website development” companies pitching me how they can help me improve my so-called “weak” website.
Now, of course, I did not get the 100, but I did gain confidence that my site is doing very strong. Morever, I got practical steps of how to make it stronger.
What do you think? How strong is your site? Have you ran the tool? Do you find it to be accurate? I would like to hear what your thoughts are (good, bad or ugly).
