Refuting the 10,000 Hour Rule

In an article written by Rachel Nuwer entitled, The 10,000 Hour Rule is Not Real, published at Smithsonian.com, she argues that “the biggest meta-analysis of research to date indicates that practice does not make perfect”.  Rachel Nuwer quotes Brain’s Idea and Anders Ericsson as the source for not just refuting the notion, but also in support of the claim that other important factors like: age, intelligence, and talent, play a larger role in this debate.
