What is a sales ready lead?
It is a lead that fits all the criteria for being qualified enough to warrant sales attention.
- There is an acknowledged need, want or desire
- The person has the power to say yes or no to your offer (decision maker)
- The person has the means (the money) to purchase your offer
- The person is wiling to listen to what you have to say about your offer
During the lead generation or prospecting aspect of the sales cycle, it is very important that proper attention is paid to leads that are “sales ready” so that no opportunity is missed and so that leads that are not “sales ready” can be nurtured appropriately to transition from their relative degree of partial qualification to being fully qualified or discarded.
